Orlando, Fla. (October 27, 2017) — Andrew Duffell, MBA, President and CEO of Research Park at Florida Atlantic University was elected to Children’s Home Society of Florida’s statewide Board of Directors, effective October 6, 2017. Duffell previously served as a member of the organization’s Palm Beach County board of directors and was recently recognized with the CHS Advocacy Appreciation Award.

Under his leadership, Research Park at FAU’s South Florida contributions have surged largely due to Duffell’s repositioning efforts including a re-branding. His work has strengthened Research Park and the surrounding area’s overall economy by strategically increasing visibility and relationships with local leaders. Duffell’s strong commitment to success mirrors his forward-thinking approach to reshaping the future for Florida families with CHS.

Duffell’s personal achievements include being named the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce 2017 Business Leader of the Year and a South Florida Business Journal Ultimate CEO as well as 2015 Palm Beach Ultimate CEO by the South Florida Business Journal and being recognized as a “40 Under 40 Rising Star in Economic Development” by Development Counsellors International.

Duffell received his Master of Arts in European Studies from the University of Aberdeen and earned a master of business administration from Florida Atlantic University.
