Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS), the state’s largest provider of services to children and families, has named Franklin B. Monjarrez, MSW, its regional executive director serving Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Monjarrez will lead local operations and business development, focusing on CHS’ core solutions: early childhood, behavioral health, and child welfare and community solutions.

CHS serves nearly 19,000 children and family members throughout Palm Beach and Broward County in early childhood programs such as BRIDGES as well as through foster care, foster family recruitment and support, adoption, child and family counseling, online counseling through telehealth, and  in-home solutions that stabilize and strengthen families.

Monjarrez brings more than 17 years of experience in social services, management, fundraising and community development. Most recently, he served as executive director of The Nonprofit Strategies Group Inc. focused on advancing industry standards.

Monjarrez holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work with a specialization in children and families from Florida International University.
