“Experiencing a senate session first-hand opened my eyes to the realities of state government,” said Timothy, a sophomore at Evans High School in Orlando. “It was enlightening to see the legislative process at its core and meet new people from throughout the state.”

“I believe everyone should take an interest in the legislative process to an extent because it affects every part of our lives,” she said.
