Following recommendations by the governor to limit large social gatherings due to public health concerns raised by COVID-19, we have made the decision to postpone our 2020 Spring event: A Southern Tradition – The Kentucky Derby Experience with a Twist of Art until April 25, 2021.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We understand this may be disappointing for many, but the health and well-being of our clients, team members, donors, boards and others is far too important.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact Geishel Valverde at 954-225-0355.

Thank you for all you do and all the support you provide to end the need for foster care as we know it. We can’t do what we do for the children and families we serve without your kindness and generosity, especially during these times of uncertainty.  If you’d like to support our children and families at this time, you can easily donate online here. Thank you for your continued support.

About Children’s Home Society of Florida

Children’s Home Society of Florida has a bold direction: to end the need for foster care as we know it. Research shows that kids experience better outcomes when they can safely remain with their families.

Funds raised through this allow us to meet families at the crossroads of their struggles and successes to empower them to overcome challenges before they turn into crises.

With your support, we deliver a “cradle to career” approach — meeting kids and families with the right solutions at the right time, no matter where they are in life.
