Following recommendations by the governor to limit large social gatherings due to public health concerns raised by COVID-19, we have made the decision to postpone An Escape to the Islands until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We understand this may be disappointing for many, but the health and well-being of our clients, team members, donors, boards and others is far too important.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact Stephanie Mozer at 407-978-1665.

Thank you for all you do and all the support you provide to end the need for foster care as we know it. We can’t do what we do for the children and families we serve without your kindness and generosity, especially during these times of uncertainty. If you’d like to support our children and families at this time, you can easily donate online here. Thank you for your continued support.

You’re invited to an elegant brunch affair with a Tahitian flair!

Children’s Home Society of Florida has a bold direction: to end the need for foster care as we know it. Research shows that kids experience better outcomes when they can safely remain with their families.

Funds raised through the An Escape to the Islands allows us to meet families at the crossroads of their struggles and successes to empower them to overcome challenges before they turn into crises. With your support, we deliver a “cradle to career” approach — meeting kids and families with the right solutions at the right time, no matter where they are in life.

This cradle to career approach incorporates programs and solutions like Early Head Start where we work with parents through their child’s most important developmental years, telehealth (online counseling), providing behavioral, mental health, and psychiatric services and Endeavour Elementary, A Community Partnership School in Brevard County, and many programs throughout Florida.

Join us for brunch, live entertainment, open bar, and an auction as we raise money to support the children and families we serve in Brevard County and throughout the state of Florida.

For questions or more information, please contact Stephanie Mozer at stephanie.mozer@chsfl.org or 407-978-1665.
