Mission Possible: An Evening of Hope
When hundreds of children across Central Florida exit foster care at 18 without a support system, they often enter into adulthood alone and unsupported. The Faine House has changed that landscape for dozens of Greater Orlando young adults, brightening their futures with the role models they need.
NFL veteran Jeff Faine partnered with Children’s Home Society of Florida in developing a safe home for young adults with ongoing community support, educational opportunities, and vocational mentorship.
The Faine House’s most impactful annual fundraising event, MISSION POSSIBLE: An Evening of Intrigue & Hope, brings 600 community leaders and influencers together for dinner, dancing, and an auction to support these young adults. Support of this impactful event showcases your company’s commitment to providing solutions that change life stories and outcomes.
About The Faine House:
Since opening its doors in 2013, The Faine House has provided guidance for young adults exiting foster care in 5 basic essentials for a successful adulthood: education; housing and transportation; employment; health and wellness; and personal finance. Every day, The Faine House lives out its motto, “change a life, change the world.”
Without a support system for these youth, the statistics can be staggering: 1 in 5 will become homeless, 1 in 4 will experience post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), only 50% will be employed at the age of 24, 71% of young women will be pregnant by age 21, and they are ten times more likely to be incarcerated.
