Some years ago, Christy and Danny Lowe provided a loving home to non-relative children. They watched those children grow, flourish, become adults, enter the workforce, buy homes and even start families of their own.

Inspired by seeing their kids succeed, the Lowes decided to become foster parents with the Children’s Home Society of Florida in Putnam County.

“I always tell everybody that every child needs to be loved,” says Christy.

The Lowe’s home is full of laughter and love including their three biological children and three children in foster care. However their youngest child in foster care thinks there is room for more recently requesting a little brother.

“Someone I can play with, but someone we do not have to potty train,” requested the child.

The Lowes work with the CHS team to keep siblings together and — when the time is right – transition each child to their permanent placement and greatest chance for success.

Thank you, Lowe family. We are truly grateful for YOU.
