What is Baines Hall?
For teens along the Treasure Coast who face homelessness, it's a chance to avoid the streets. To finish school. To go to college or start vocational training.
If you can't live at home anymore, Baines Hall may be for you. We provide safe housing, educational and career guidance, and training to help you learn how to live independently.
What's it like there?
Baines Hall has two wings: one for men, one for women. Residents share a bedroom with one roommate, and everyone shares a kitchen and living area.
OK, it's a safe place to live. How else can you help me?
You receive guidance to set and achieve goals. Professionals will provide educational and career coaching. You'll connect with a mentor who's truly committed to your success and well-being.
We'll help you access medical and mental health services. You'll learn basic life skills like budgeting, house cleaning, cooking and securing transportation.
When you complete the program, you'll be ready for life on your own.
How long can I stay?
Up to 18 months.
