“I didn’t want him to grow up the way I did. As long as I’m his mom, nothing bad is ever going to happen to him.”

Transitions Home

For teen moms and their babies

Who can live at Transitions Home?

Christine and CamdynPregnant teens and teen moms, along with their babies.

What's it like there?

Each mom and her baby shares a warm, welcoming bedroom, and all girls who live at Transitions share a kitchen, dining room and living area.

Girls share in household responsibilities, like cooking and doing the dishes, and they're each also responsible for caring for their babies. Our professional, compassionate staff coaches moms through challenging times, such as when it's difficult to console their babies, and teaches the girls how to safely, appropriately and positively care for their children.

The girls attend school and work, and we help them look toward the future, too, so they can set and achieve goals that will allow them to become healthy, self-sufficient families when they leave Transitions Home.

How long can moms and their babies live there?

Up to two years.

How do I get more information on joining the family at Transitions Home?
