Jacob

Even though Jacob was born several weeks early, he reached most developmental milestones. There was one he just couldn’t meet – his first words. Because Jacob couldn’t communicate his needs or want, he began growing frustrated, sending feelings of alarm through his parents. 

And then his mother learned of our Early Steps program, serving families with babies and toddlers who have developmental delays. 

Jacob and his parents learned sign language to communicate until Jacob could speak. We gave Jacob's family more than services - we gave them hope.
