Children's Home Society of Florida has been providing services to the Central and Gulf Coast counties since the 1920s. CHS merged the original Gulf Coast Division with the Rose Keller Division in 1998 to create today's Gulf Coast Division, which serves the nine counties of Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Manatee, Polk, Hardee, Highlands, DeSoto and Sarasota. The Gulf Coast Division's 300 employees work with 7,600 children and families annually by providing a range of services and programs including: emergency residential shelter care and supervision, community-based mentoring, foster care support, child advocacy, child protection team, family visitation center, teen parenting program, and dependency case management. To learn more about our programs and services, or to find out how you can make a difference in the life of a child by volunteering or making a contribution, please contact us at the information below.
