More than 5,500 children in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas have an incarcerated parent. We provide mentoring services to youth in Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Baker and Nassau counties.
Volunteers are needed to mentor children ages 4-15 who have a parent incarcerated in state or federal prison. You'll make a difference in a child's life while you enjoy activities together, such as going to the beach or library, having a picnic at local parks, fishing, playing sports or talking a stroll.

The possibilities that someone would spend time with you.
To do activities that your parent is not there to do.
You had an adult friend and a role model Now you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
You have hope, that everything will be alright,
And you no longer have to cry yourself to sleep at night.
You can grow up to be somebody.
And reject the wrong things at every opportunity.
In spite of your circumstance, you now have a fighting chance.
Your goals and dreams are an open door, because now you have a Mentor."
