Parent Support Group

Are you an adoptive parent of a child with special needs or a child from foster care? Have you faced unforeseen challenges that seem unique to your situation? If so, we invite you to our Parent Support Group.

The Special Needs Adoption Parent (SNAP) Support Group offered by CHS' Treasure Coast Division Adoption Program is for families that have already finalized the adoption of a child from foster care. The support group is open to relative, non-relative and foster parents.

The SNAP Support Group provides education and social interaction for adoptive parents, allowing you to network with other local adoptive families as well as adoption experts. With each meeting, we hope you'll leave with a better understanding of your own unique situation and learn more about community resources available that can help enhance your adoption experience and strengthen your family bond.

If you've experienced adoption and the process has gone as smoothly as you hoped, we'd love you to join the group, too. Your help, support and participation at the meetings, as well as your insight, would be invaluable to the other parents in our group.
