They were given a chance

Joe and Tim are at the end of their stay at Brian's House at the Children's Home Society of Florida. They're turning 18 and graduating from high school. Here's a glimpse into what they did with their chance for a better life:

Joe was at Brian's House for two and a half years. During that time, he maintained a good grade point average and worked part time to save $5,000 for the day he would turn 18 and be on his own. With counseling and support from the CHS staff, he was preparing and planning for his future. He bought and fixed up a used car and moved into a studio apartment. Joe's ready to move into adulthood and is confident he can succeed.

Tim also graduates from high school this year. His future includes the U.S. Marine Corps. He's been accepted and is excited about his future in the military.

These young men are two of many who have spent time with us at Brian's House during a critical period in their lives. We provided an environment of love, guidance, comfort, safety and, most importantly, a chance to succeed.
