Help make a difference in the life of a child
As a volunteer with Children's Home Society of Florida, you can help us make big changes for the most vulnerable youngsters in our community. Our volunteers:
- Plan and coordinate activities for our children and families.
- Maintain case files and records.
- Participate in our Speakers’ Bureau.
- Recruit new volunteers.
- Accompany children in foster care to doctor’s appointments.
- Read with children staying in the emergency shelter.
- Raise charitable funds and write grant applications.
- Mentor a child or teen.
- Pick up donated items from community members.
- Plan and implement community outreach activities.
- Assist with general administration.
- Help with the planning and implementation of special events.
- Supervise children while their caregiver meets with staff.
- Whether you want to be involved every day or once a year, we would love your help!
