Child Protection Team

Community Based Foster Care

Family Preservation
Provides intense in-home services to families at risk of having their children removed from the home due to abuse or neglect.

M.O.D.E.L. Mentoring Program
Ready by 5
Promotes school readiness and faciliates early returns to safe, permanent placements for abused and neglected children. This community-based, collaborative approach provides youngsters with developmental and emotional skills and competencies needed to succeed in school and other family and community settings.

Adoption of Children from Foster Care
Focuses on children who cannot return to their birth family. The goal is to complete an adoption with a foster parent or relative, or to find a family that will adopt.
Strong Couples, Healthy Families
Provides community-based services for adoptive families through an in-home curriculum that focuses on strengthening the couple's relationship.

The Preschool at Evening Rose
Serves children ages 12 months to 5 years and also offers Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK). We've implemented the Beyond Centers and Circle Time Curriculum©, written by Dr. Pam Phelps, owner of The Creative Pre-school, designed to provide creative, playful and stimulating experiences for young children. The curriculum focuses on well-planned, organized and scaffolded play experiences that help children to develop physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively. Our service ratios align with the strict requirements of our national accrediting agency, the Council on Accreditation.

Tree House
A temporary emergency shelter open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for children ages 2-11 years who cannot stay safely in their own homes due to the possiblity of being abused or neglected.
