 A Teen Leadership Program 
 Hosted by Children's Home Society of Florida's Board of Directors

The goal of the jive is to empower, motivate and inspire teens to develop their leadership skills by providing an atmosphere in which teens can make positive changes in our communities.

This is your opportunity not only to learn leadership skills but also to become a leader!

You will also play an instrumental role in our thrift store by:

  • Assisting in running the thrift store
  • Developing a media and marketing campaign
  • Creating a retail plan

This is truly a unique opportunity to cultivate your leadership skills! “Member of Children’s Home Society of Florida’s Leadership Program for Teens” will be an impressive addition to your resumé and look great on college applications.

To be eligible for the jive program, you must:

  • Be enrolled in high school in Alachua County
  • Commit two years of service
  • Attend one meeting per month
  • Dedicate 10 hours of volunteer time at Children’s Home Society of Florida’s thrift shop per month

Application:

The deadline to submit an application for the 2012-2013 school year has passed, but you are welcome to submit an application for a future year.
