Responsibilities
Third-Party Organization Responsibilities
- Secure all financial, product and media sponsorships
- Pay for all event-related expenses incurred
- Submit all publicity materials bearing the CHS name or logo to the CHS Development Department for approval before publication (invitations, advertisements, promotional materials, Web content, etc.)
- Secure proper insurance coverage including a certificate of insurance listing CHS as additional insured for the event. A copy of the certificate must be provided to CHS at least two weeks before the event
- Complete third-party application and agreement
- Meet with CHS Development staff, following approval of application, to outline specific event-related responsibilities of each organization
- Participate in post-event evaluation meeting with CHS Development staff within 30 days of the event
- Ensure all expenses are paid within vendors stated
- Submit agreed-upon portion of net income to CHS within 60 days of the event
CHS Responsibilities
CHS will provide assistance as staff time permits or as requested.
CHS may provide:
- Volunteers, provided an explanation of roles and duties is supplied by the third-party organization at least two weeks before event
- Press releases and media alerts
- Assistance and direction regarding media partners, sponsorship and donations (e.g. letters on CHS letterhead, prospect identification, advice on solicitation, etc.)
- Other items or services as explicitly agreed upon by both parties
CHS cannot provide:
- Insurance for the event, though proof of insurance is required for CHS to participate in the event
- Financial assistance for event-related expenses
