There are endless volunteer opportunities like simply being a friend, reading a book to a child or a mentoring a teen whose father is incarcerated. From events and office assistance to holding a baby who needs attention, every minute spent with CHS helps make a difference in our children’s lives. Our programs are Central Florida’s best-kept secrets. From our Crisis Nursery and Perinatal Program to our adoption and foster care services ... tell everyone you know about CHS. Become a voice for our children and provide them with the love and support they need so much. It is our responsibility and the community's to speak up for those who are not loud enough to be heard.

It’s through the generosity of our caring friends that we’re able to change children’s lives and transform our communities. Now more than ever, your support of our mission and our children is needed. Every day, our organization feels the crunch of our nation’s recession. Funding sources are decreasing while the needs for our services are increasing. When children are removed from their homes at 3 a.m. because they are in danger, there is no time to pack. Some of our children come to us with just the diaper they were wearing when they went to sleep. Your donations of goods and services help defray the costs of caring for our children and provide direct assistance to needy families.
