Thank you for your support of The Faine House and Children’s Home Society of Florida. Join us as we celebrate our third annual Mardi Gras-themed “An Evening of H.O.P.E. Gala,” set for Saturday February 18, 2012, in the Tuscan Ballroom of the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando.

The Faine House is a temporary home for youth who have "aged out" of the foster care system at 18 without a family. These children have been in the foster care system for years – many for most of their lives. When they entered the foster care system, they came from homes where they were abused, neglected or abandoned. For many, their situation was so dire that their biological parents' rights were terminated. These teens, many of whom have not yet graduated from high school, become responsible for all of life's necessities including shelter, food and clothing at 18 years old. The focus of The Faine House is to help these teens complete their education, to develop employment and independent living skills while providing a safe and stable place to live.

Through the continued generosity of the Central Florida community and others, Children’s Home Society of Florida recently selected a site for The Faine House, is completing architectural drawings in the coming months and will soon begin construction for this incredible home and opportunity to enhance the lives of youth in our community. The Faine House is targeted to open its doors in the second quarter of next year!
