The Jeridos
After spending nearly all their savings on doctor visits to address infertility issues, Annette and Kenneth never gave up their dream to have a child together.
The possibilities for a biological child grew thin, so their interest in adoption intensified. A physician referral to CHS reinforced Kenneth's positive experience with the adoption of his oldest son Theron, now 22. They called CHS and were connected with the same caseworker from Theron's adoption.
Throughout the process, the waiting time became difficult ... to keep busy, they began home improvement projects. Losing hope, Annette began to give away the baby belongings they had collected.
Then, on December 2, 2007, Annette received a call from CHS and rushed to the office. She arrived to find a little girl whom she and Kenneth named Adrianne Maria Jerido. Now a family of six, including children from Kenneth's previous marriage, the Jeridos feel honored that God allowed them to be part of such a precious little girl's life.
