The Badger Family

Ken and Michele Badger always knew they wanted a child to complete their family. When they were unable to have a child, they turned to adoption.

They loved the family atmosphere and support they received through the entire process at Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS). “After many attempts with other agencies, I found Children’s Home Society of Florida to be a blessing,” Michele says.

Finally, they received a phone call asking them to meet their new son, Kendel, at the hospital. It seemed almost too good to be true, but it all became a reality when they held their son for the first time in November 2009. They called him their "Thanksgiving gift."

Now, Kendel is the center of their world and brings such joy to their lives. His big personality and love for the ladies make him irresistible, and his smile lights up any room. The Badgers are so grateful CHS could unite them with the perfect child and had so much fun planning his first, All-Star themed birthday party.
