The Jess Parrish Medical Foundation, Inc., recently awarded Children’s Home Society of Florida’s Brevard Division (CHS) with a grant for $2,000 for Healthy Start program services in North Brevard County.
The Brevard Division of Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) recognized Sen. Mike Haridopolos, Senate President Designate 2010, and local businessman Ron Folino during a private awards breakfast on September 2 at CHS’ Brevard Division campus. Sen. Haridopolos was honored as Legislator of the Year for his efforts on behalf of Florida’s children, and Mr. Folino was awarded Business Partner of the Year for his work on a much-needed renovation at the CHS campus.
Children’s Home Society of Florida dependency care manager Janice Claiborne of Melbourne recently received the Dependency Case Manager of the Year Award by the Florida Coalition for Children (FCC), the highest honor the coalition bestows upon a dependency care or case manager.
